The analysis shows the strong links between creativity, design and innovation, and highlights the particular importance of creative education.
The second report compares different international indices of innovation and technological development, and provides an update of the Global Innovation Scoreboard including an analysis of country trends between 1995 and 2005.
The third report analyses sectoral and national patterns of innovation for seven countries over six years of the Community Innovation Scoreboard, and provides a model to explain the inter-relation between innovative investments, innovative performance and growth in sales. This demonstrates the importance of demand side factors and the time lags between innovative investments, performance and sales. It also shows that demand factors are more important in the service sector while firm size is relevant in manufacturing.
